Class Prices

All public sponsored Boat Safe Connecticut classes are $95.00 per person. Marinas, Yacht Clubs, Fish & Game Clubs, Community Education Organizations, Park & Rec Departments, Sailing Clubs and other public organizations may set their own pricing. Private classes are $495.00 for up to four students, with a $95.00 cost for each additional student over four.

Payments

Boat Safe Connecticut accepts Venmo, personal & business checks, and cash for payments.

Public Classes: Our public class schedule is limited this time of year.  Classes are held on an ongoing basis.  We are always open to Yacht Clubs, Marinas, Water-ski Clubs, Park & Rec. Departments, Continuing Education, and Community Colleges to have us as instructors for their programming.


  • All former students of any Boat Safe Connecticut class are welcome to audit any future class at no charge.

​Additional costs

The only additional expense a student will incur to obtain their C.P.W.O. (Boating / Personal Watercraft License with the waterski / recreational towing endorsement) is a one-time processing fee paid directly to the State of Connecticut D.E.E.P. via debit or credit card (MasterCard or Visa logo) in the amount of $50.00.  Once purchased, you can return to the D.E.E.P. website any time in the future to download and print additional copies of your C.P.W.O. at no additional  cost.​​
